Frame rate issue in the scene editor?
So I am just making a small game, using only the cubes and spheres in unity, and in the scene editor when I fly around (whether I'm holding shift or not) I'll get these random frame spikes. It only happens in the scene editor though, and not in the build. It's just been rather annoying to deal with and I've not been able to find anything about it on the forums. Anyone know what the problem may be?

Did you run the profiler to check it? What did it tell you?
