Flat shading doesn't work with cloth component.
Hi everyone, This is my first post here, because for the most part I've been able to find solutions to my problems with a bit of research. This one stumps me though. I'm following a tutorial that implements low poly water beautifully with a cloth component, but I'm tweaking it to have the texture be flat shaded.
I have the model working fine with flat shading (duplicate vertices for hard edges etc) but the effect disappears when I enable the cloth component. Literally the only difference between these two pictures is whether that component is enabled or not.
Does cloth do something to the vertices or something? And if so, any thoughts on how to disrupt that without losing the rest of the functionality of the cloth component?
