Can't start Unity with VPN connected
Hi, just starting with Unity and wondering why it won't start while I'm connected to a VPN (NordVPN). The main window appears but it won't load my project, it just hangs. As soon as I disconnect from the VPN it will continue and load. (Windows) Thanks.
It only seems to apply to NordVPN and Unity still works offline. It is definitely weird that Unity just breaks down like that but it is 100% reproducible with NordVPN.
I use Nord VPN, and as long as it's active I can't start a unity project and also during certain saving processes I think it connects online for whatever reason and hangs itself. It's pretty annoying. If I let it hang for too long with the VPN active it can even crash.

Quite late, but I also have this issue and this seems to be the only discussion concerning it. Definitely Unity's fault, it shouldn't require an internet connection to function... quite silly.
I've found no fix for this right now other than disabling VPN momentarily, opening Unity and then enabling VPN again.
