Best way to play an animation/scene inside a scene?
Hi everyone.
I was wandering if I could get some help and guidance around playing an animation/scene inside a currently running scene.
So the idea is when I hit a button the character disappears from the screen and appears in a pop-up like box where he's doing his action, e.g. I hit a "work button" character walks out from the scene, and I have a pop-up animation box in the bottom corner, or anywhere appropriate, where it shows the character is working.
The animation box doesn't need to be interactive, but just being able to turned on/off when a button is pressed. Kinda like a princess maker. Would it be using LoadLevelAdditive? Or something similar? Or would I be touching cinematic machine stuff?
I've only dealt/used scenes to just load from one to another so not sure how I'd apply my idea that I have here so I need some guidance around how I'd approach this.
