Two instances of Unity3D 5

Hi,

From yesterday unity5 is suddenly behaving a different way, Unity showing two instances of same project, even though I have opened it once.

As far as I know unity does not let same project get open for twice so double clicking is out of scope here.

Interesting thing is once I close currently open window the other instance also get exited.

Why is this happening? Is it because I have git integrated? what could be solution?

Here are the screenshots of the same,

if you could replicate this in your project, you should probably file a bug report sending them your project

if you close one does the second work?

and actually ... if you start it by clicking unity icon, do you have 2 prompts for opening project?

You probably opened a folder in that project by accident, and treated it as a different one. Happened to me once.
