2013 Face tracking plugin
I am looking for some non-commercial version of a face tracking plugin to use on a project for university. I am using macosx.
I can use kinect or webcam on this project. I just need the plugin to crop the head of user to use it later as a texture on a plane. If I could automatically detect the eyes, it would be also nice.
I am not a programer, so, if I need to implement external libraries like OpenCV instead of importing a custom package, I would like some help. I couldn't find any tutorial explaining how to use it from the very start with Unity3D.

I've just been researching facial recognition and head tracking solutions. Visage has some excellent Unity integration.
They have many academic users, so I think they may be a good solution for you.
