Importing assets
I have imported an animation created with Blender. However, while the Blender animation has 6 different actions (die, hurt, idle, spell, swing & walk)the imported asset has 6 pairs of actions idle and walk repeated 6 times. To import the animation I exported an .fbx file from Blender and copied it to the Unity\asset folder. I then used the assets\import new asset function in the editor.
What has gone wrong?
You need to manually set up the actions in the importer in this case. Before you export from blender, see if you can make it easier for the importer, by stringing all your actions together in a row.
