How to reload scene without recreating objects
I'm trying to make a game, an RTS with "sectors".
Basically at first initialisation, the map gets generated with predefined parameters like how many asteroids there are and their locations. It loads into them when you click a hex sector.
The generation gameobject is called Spawner, in Start() of Spawner I have the DontDestroyOnLoad or whatever it is called and it does stay loaded if you load another scene until you go back to the map scene where it recreates the object, resetting a boolean and regenerating the map again, which is not what I wanted.
How do you reload the scene without recreating gameobjects that are loaded already?
