Particle lights with flares
Hello,
I've tried to add a point light prefab to my particle system and all is working well except that it is not adding the flare that is part of the point light. If I add the point light to my scene manually it works, but not when used in the particle system.
Is this a known limitation?
I can think of a couple of ways to work around it but was wondering why its not working for me at present (and if it is something i've missed/done wrong).

To give some background, I just want the particles to be bright. Right now only where light is hitting another surface is it bright, but in the absence of surfaces to hit the particle system has no brightness. I wanted to use flares as this seems to be the only way to make the source itself bright. Perhaps there is another way?
