Reflection Probe Visible In Wrong Layer
I have a scene setup like so:
[Object, Layer]
Planet, Space
Interior, Default,
RefProbe Space, Space,
RefProbe Interior, Default
I also have two cameras. One camera is masked to only render the Space layer and the other to only render the Default layer. Using fancy camera tricks, I'm compositing one layer onto the other one in order to make outer space seem really big (Space layer) while allowing the player to walk around the interior of the ship (Default layer). Most everything works fine, but I noticed that even though I have reflection probes which mask for and are a part of their corresponding layers, the space probe still bleeds into the interior of the ship. This is a problem because the reflections of planets and stars don't reflect correctly on interior objects (windows and such). Building my own reflection probe system to accurately reflect space seems daunting, so I'd rather just shut them off in the interior layer for now. Problem is, I can't seem to find a way to do that. Any ideas?
