Asset Bundle cant have multiple files with the same name?
I have a few sets of images and audios (an image and an audio in a set) in different folder paths and want to bundle them together. The file names of the images are the same as that of the respective audios, but they are placed in different location. It throws the error "Building AssetBundle failed because hash collision was detected in the deterministic id generation.". What should I do ?
Same here and I have already tried patch releases of unity 5.2 as well as 5.3 beta still it is not fixed. I hope this is not 'by design' as this would be to the most stupid limitation I have ever seen, and one that is nowhere to be found as documented.
The repro is as simple as empty project with two text files with the same name at different paths in a directory that is set to be an asset bundle.
