How 3d anime games could be made with unity?
I want to make a fantasy game. There are many fantasy games I have played and most of them have an unbelievable graphics. The one that makes it look like animes.
I am talking about games like final fantasy XIII, or legend of zelda breath of the wild like look. The best example is the upcoming game kurtzpel. Could that kind of looks be achieved with unity. If yes then how?
Yes, it can be achieved. Take a few dozen millions of dollars, assign it to a professional art $$anonymous$$m numbering in the dozens, and watch the results. Seriously, there is a reason why these titles have such good graphics; they have the budget to pay highly qualified artists plus art directors, shader programmers etc.
If you have the skills you can of course do it yourself (how long that takes is another matter), and if you don't learn it. It's no witchcraft but there's a reason good artists commonly have years of practice under their belts.
Sadly, that is the reality. But maybe my hard work could at least let me make something I could be proud of. Even its graphics is not so good
Try to find a shader that produces a look you like, then maybe start looking into shader program$$anonymous$$g; it's not as difficult as you think, and pretty well documented. Of course, the other thing required is having the right 3d models and animations, stylized in a certain way.
I think you meant to say "numbering in the hundreds". (Have you seen the credit scroll for a Final Fantasy game?)
I mean, Unity-chan is a free example of this sort of art and has been downloaded thousands of times. As for the world itself, it's surprisingly easy to make cartoonish grass in Unity using the vanilla terrain system and several free assets on the assetstore to help get you started.
Without much experience, you can still get good cartoon results with Toony Colors Pro 2 asset: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/shaders/toony-colors-pro-2-8105 There are lots of samples that you can test on their website.
There's also a free version with a few basic styles: Toony Colors Free https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/shaders/toony-colors-free-3926
Looks like that could help. I just need to make characters suitable for that style.

I just found the best example for the graphics I want to create. The example is naruto shippuden ninja storm series. Could anybody tell me how to do that? @Cherno
At last I found the answer on my own. It needs cel shading to achieve that graphic. I found a good cel shading example here: http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/$$anonymous$$Leon/20170519/298374/NextGen_Cel_Shading_in_Unity_56.php

You have to think outside the box, and come up with a unique or different idea for the game. Minecraft is proberly the best example of a single dev making a hugely successful game. Make a fantasy game but make it different to all the others, how is yours going to be different? ETC.
