Make .unitypackage file open in currently opened editor?

I installed multiple unity versions and now the .unitypackage files show unknown application as their associated default program. meaning there's just a white blank icon for these files. How can i set it the way it worked before? I tried setting them to open in unity from open with but it always starts loading new instance of unity instead of opening the package in currently open one.

just got same issue after installed 32bit unity version.. (un-installing it didnt fix it)
