Using sqlite and JSON both
Hi,
I'm making a game where I have a big database which is being updated by the apis. On the other hand, I also have small stuff which I need to manage locally for the game.
Now I'm using sqlite for the DB and JSON for local data, which I'm actually really enjoying to work.
But one question remains in my mind, if it's okay to use both type of DBs for one game, because they do have their own meaning.
What do you think ?

Why do you think this would be a problem? Do you think "Jason" puts on a hockey mask and starts fighting freddy and causing you nightmares (only if you live on elm street)? ^^
Jokes aside what actual concerns do you have in mind? For example FireFox uses sqlite databases, json files, zip archives and proprietary file formats all over the place. Just have a look into your profile folder (if you have FF).
The two are two completely different ways of storing and managing data. They are not related in any way. It's almost like asking if it's ok to eat a banana while sitting in a wirlpool. I'm not sure what kind of answer you would expect from us.
Please keep in mind that UnityAnswers is not meant for asking for opinions. Also the choice of a storage method is hardly related to Unity anyways so it's more of a general question. If you want to discuss such things you may ask such things on the forums.
