Jumping while hugging a tiled wall decreases jump height
Hi everyone, I'm new to all of this and only followed a few tutorials, I hope the answer to my problem is not a super obvious one, but let's be real.. it probably is ^^
So when I jump into a tiled wall while continuously holding a directional key, the character's jump height is significantly decreased(1st. picture).

A little work around I found is to use to just stretch out a wall with the scale tool, if I do that, the character can reach the maximum jump height(2nd picture).
I've included the inspectors for the ground tiles and the player in the pictures, I hope that helps in order to find the solution.
There's a "NoFriction" PhysMaterial, I've tried out a lot of different combinations of settings in there in hopes for a solution but nothing helped. I also made sure there are no accidental tiny gaps between the tiles, I moved everything while holding control.
