Reading commands from and sending frames to an external application
I'm running an Reinforcement Learning algorithm to explore Unity environments. The RL software and the game have to be run separately. The goal is to run the game in a separate executable, then have it read from, say, a named pipe, or an RPC, as well as send the next frame back out.
I've been unable to find any keywords that relate to this. I'm glad to do my own research if I knew what to look for.
If Unity doesn't allow this, I'd like to know too, so I can try to find another solution.
