Serializing an Action as XML?

Hello. I tried serializing a Action via XML, but that doesn't work, so I tried through binary.

 MemoryStream memStream = new MemoryStream ();
 Binary.Serialize (memStream,myAction);
 SaveData=memStream.GetBuffer();

However, if I try to load/read it, i get error. This is the code.

 MemoryStream memStream = new MemoryStream ();
 memStream.Read(myByte,0,myByte.Length);
 myAction=Binary.Deserialize(memStream) as Action<int>;


This gives a "SerializationException: serializationStream supports seeking, but its length is 0".

Am I doing something wrong? Did I skip a step?
