Preference settings for commonly used items?

Is there a Preferences setting or any way to set defaults for items like:

Text

Font Style (I know I can cheat on this by only having 1, but keep reading)
Font Color
UI Text to always have "Shadow" component attached
UI Background texture (Instead of Unity's Background or UI Sprite)

Textures

Auto configure PNGs to "2D & UI" setting instead of "Default"

If it helps, I'm using Unity Pro
