Is there a way to use particles as a mask for other particles?
I'm trying to recreate a cool effect I saw, any help is appreciated. :L

Try https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-SpriteMask.html
(Particle Systems support being used as sprite masks too, there is an option for it in the renderer module)
I've tried the Sprite $$anonymous$$ask, you can't set the particle effect itself as a mask. Unless there's something I'm missing? The Renderer $$anonymous$$odule on the particle effect allows you to set "Visible Inside $$anonymous$$ask" or "Visible Outside $$anonymous$$ask", that's it.
I spoke with the 2D $$anonymous$$m and they agree - it's not possible to use a Particle System as a Sprite $$anonymous$$ask at the moment. I've passed this info on so they may consider adding support in the future.
