Character falls when animator plays
Hello, I have an issue that when the animator starts playing, the character animation position changes, but actually the position in world space remains.
For example, in this pic,the position in Y is 0,exactly over the ground.Once I click play, the position would remain the same Y position except that the character position in the animation changes like the next image, cutting to half the character throught the floor.
I know reasons that happens: 1.I'm using two layers for the animator,UpperBody and LowerBody(Base Layer I just left it with a state without animation). If I use Base Layer it will animate correctly, but I need it separated. 2.I'm using an avatar mask for both layer,in the lowerBody avatar mask,I unactivated the floor. If I activate it,actually works fine, but I think looks bad for the player (the foot don't actually touch the floor and one foot is behind I don't know why).
Which way I could reach to the same result of not changing the animation position while I don't activate the floor in the avatar mask and not using the Base Layer?
And is actually a good idea leaving the Base Layer without animation (since can't be deleted)?
Thanks.
