Can you apply foliage to an imported Blender asset(object)?
Yeah...it may sound stupid to you, but as a two day old Unity and Blender user i'd say i'm allowed to ask stuff like this. I've looked around and searched for almost an hour for this on the internet and couldn't find a way of putting foliage on say, an object imported from Blender. (i believe you call that an asset) I know how to apply them on a terrain, that's totally fine, but what i want to do involves 3 floating islands and as far as i'm concerned you can't make floating islands out of terrains. (if you can, please let me know!)
So what i've done is i've sculpted and painted a floating island in Blender and then imported it into Unity. How do I apply foliage and trees to it? Is this the right way to do things? If i was to do a scene it would've been miles easier, but my idea is different. Is there a way to make the floating island entirely in Unity and if so, should i do it that way? Thanks.
