Beat 'Em Up AI
Hello there, i'm new to Unity(2-3 weeks), currently i'm trying to create a beat 'em up game, i'm using the Z axis to simulate vertical movement.
I'm creating an AI for my enemy and i'm stuck, i don't know how to do this, so i looked at Castle Crashers AI and i noticed a few things:
The enemy randomly moves around the player and eventually it gets closer to attack.
When multiple enemies are on the screen, only a few of them get closer to attack, while others keep moving randomly until you get closer to them.

so, i need some help/tips on how to start creating an AI like this, thanks!
