              Weird artifacts appear on my 2D sprites.
I created a few sprites on GIMP to use on an idle animation on unity. I have tried both PSD and PNG files, used Truecolor, Point (no filter), and the correct PPU.
Still, when playing the game, I get the following artifact during the animation. Note the translucent white blocks behind and ahead of the characters.  Compare to what it should be (turned off animation):

What am I doing wrong?? Is this a bug? I'm using Unity 5.3.4 on OS X Yosemite.
