timeline moves object with clip offset
if a timeline starts playing the red object (in the geen circle) teleports but should stay at the green blob. i turned off the clip offset match fields but that doesnt work. please help!

If your object has an animator with an animation controller, it will start playing relative to it's starting position. That might be what is happening here.
