[FF] Possible to use DirectX's Directinput for Force Feedback

For a simulation game that i'm doing, i need Force feedback, because Unity doesnt support it from stock, i thought i could use the Directinput from Directx, would it be possible? someone tried id?

if you would do it somehow different, let me know!

There is a plugin you can still buy from this guy here. http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/159297-Force-Feedback-Controller-Toolkit He has since removed it from the Asset store but i just contacted him and he sold me a copy. There is a plugin in the forums going around from th KartSim (Vectrex guy) but it seems to crash on some computers. The New link that I showed above is a better version built from the Logitech SDK and is fine.
