A ballistic curve connects 2 dots (A and B) in a 2D space. B is higher than A. How do I calculate the shortest possible possible curve between those dots?
I have a game where creatures jump from one platfrom to another.
There are a lot of tools which could help me calculate a random trajectory, but I couldn't find any which would help me find the shortest trajectory.

This tool for example offers me to choose the time which is needed for the bullet to reach its destination and creates the curve accordingly.
What I need is a formula which would calculate the shortest time possilbe.
