Has editor camera clipping plane changed?

I'm finding that I can't zoom in close to objects in the scene view. They are getting clipped by the camera's near plane I think. I don't remember the problem being this bad in the past. I recently updated to 5.2.1f1. Has there been some change to the editor camera clipping plane? Is anyone else seeing this? And is there a way to control the near clipping plane yet? I see this question from 4 years ago:

I just upgraded to 5.2.1f1 and am experiencing the same issue fwiw
