My sprites flicker in and out of view
Hello all,
When i move the camera in the unity editor sprites flicker in and out of view: https://youtu.be/hhAhwf161jI
The sprite will draw in the editor whenever there is a 3d object in view. They will also disappear in 2d view.
Anyone get this?
windows 7 unity 2017.3 nvidia quadro fx 580
It's probably a part of a larger problem since unity now crashes on every attempt to start it up

Hi JustinZ, Have you tried to select the object and press F to focus that object and center it onto the viewport?

Here is the scene view where te sprite only renders with a 3d object: https://youtu.be/3gXC7dBPWUA
and the sprite inspector
LoL... This is weird... I see you're working with a Quadro card. Are all your graphic drivers up to date? Quadro graphics are a headache sometimes :/
o that's a good point, there might be something weird going on there as it wont display my monitors, gonna follow that up thanks.
Great! Good luck and let us know any update you discover on this! ;D
Hey it worked! I uninstalled the display drivers and unity works once more. So now I know the root of the problem.
Thanks alot!
Nice! I have a PC with another Quadro and I have to be really careful with the drivers hehe. I'm glad you fix it! ;D
Just a little update. Apparently another part of the problem is switching target platforms. When switched to android, the sprite bug reappears. So as a work around i'll just work in the pc target platform.
