Unity custom class array serialization issue.
So I created this editor tool that is just a visual way of editing an array of SavedItem. SavedItem is a main class but I have for example SavedEquipable : SavedItem. When I add a SavedEquipable to the array of SavedItem its all good. But after I enter playmode all of them turn into SavedItems loosing the data of SavedEquipable. What I believe is happening cause of when unity serializes and deserializes my object it only does it for the parent class. Is there a way to get around all this?
