Best solution for 100% accurate jumps.
Hi,
Im building a runner-game, and am having trouble making my character jump in an accurate way. I want him to jump 50 units and move him by changing the rigidbody2d velocity.
When my time step in Physics 2d is 0.2, he jumps 48.4 units (error 1.6)
When my time step in Physics 2d is 0.1, he jumps 49.2 units (error 0.8)
When my time step in Physics 2d is 0.05, he jumps 49.6 units (error 0.4)
So in other words: when i halve the time step, the error halves as well.
Could someone please explain this to me, as well as provide a solution for it (that is not to change time step to 0.0001)
