No colliders available for animation event parameter? Why?
Hi All,
I'm trying to get a simple little combat system working and am having trouble with my animation events. I have a function LaunchAttack which takes a collider as a parameter. It seems to work on some hard coded tests that I ran (pressing a key to trigger the function, and passing a collider from an array ).
However now I am trying to attach the function to an animation event and it won't allow me to select the collider, or any collider for that matter, that I wish to use. I can't figure out why my collider won't show, or why I can't select anything from the scene only from my assets. I've tried dragging and dropping colliders of all kinds into the parameter field but nothing seems to be allowed.
I've looked around and can't seem to find any answers to a problem like this. Would really appreciate some help as I'm fairly new to Unity. Thanks!
