Running out of memory upon re-import and update
As noted in a comment in a post here I have a problem with Unity 2.6.x constantly reimporting unchanged assets when I focus off of the game in the editor to do something else. In relation to that, when the reimport finishes and also just when I update from the Asset Server at times, Unity crashes with out of memory exception. I get an "OK" dialog notifying me of this fact and then the bug report comes up. This is in the logs:
... Updating assets/resources/pid2/underconstruction.png - GUID: 56081d20b04541b4a895e68f907c9dae... Out of memory!
(Filename: ....\Editor\Src\Application.cpp Line: 1868)
Launching bug reporter due to fatal error!
This happens frequently and I have reported the bug. Are there runtime settings in Unity that could be passed through to Mono to help with this issue? Note that I have co workers that use Macs that work in the same project all day and do not have this issue.
