Does Google Play Games Service achievements support multiple profiles in a game?

So we're working on a game that's going to have multiple profiles and we want to add achievements to the game. We want each player to be able to earn their own achievements within their own profiles. We were planning on implementing Google Play Games Services to implement the achievements system, but it looks like that's tied to the Google account on the phone. Is there a way to implement achievements from Google Play Games Services for multiple profiles within a game, or will we have to implement our system for achievements in this case?
