Question by bpalumbi · Apr 15, 2016 at 04:41 AM · iosvriphonebuild-errorxcode

iPhone Virtual Reality App won't load onto my phone.

Hi,

This is my first time using Unity. I made a simple virtual reality iPhone app, and Built and Ran it. Once in Xcode, I pressed Run again and it said the app was installing on my phone.

The app that loaded onto my phone wasn't mine. Instead, a sample assets app had loaded onto my phone, it's like a demo.

I registered my phone as a Device and got a developer certificate and a provisioning profile. I don't know why the app on my phone isn't mine, especially because Xcode said it was installing my app onto the phone. This error showed up in the Xcode terminal after I ran the app on my phone:

[ERROR]native : unity.cc:221 Resume: Start() has not been called!

I don't know what this error means, or even if it is really the problem, but I can't think of anything else that might cause my app not to run. My guess is Xcode is running into some error while loading the app and reverts back to a Sample Assets demo instead of crashing. But I don't know how to remedy that.

If you know anything about this or have run into a similar problem, please let me know. Any information helps.

Thanks so much!
