SteamVR 2.2 - How to setup input bindings for devices I don't have?
Hey, I am currently working on a VR project in Unity, which uses the new SteamVR 2.2. I am currently using the Oculus Rift, but I want the game to work on the Vive and WMR as well. For my Rift the input is working totally fine. I created my own action set and binding and don't have any issues with it. But now I want an input for the Vive. What I did:
Opening SteamVR Input
Opened Binding UI
Selected the controller (In that Case the Vive Wands)
Created input binding
Named it, setted as default and saved it
Saved and generated it
Back in Unity - As soon as I create a build, it creates the "actions.json" and the "application_generated_unity_proejct_name_exe_binding_oculus_touch.json" file. But there is no file for the vive. A friend of mine tested it and it doesn't work. When he starts the build it says, that there is no default input for vive set.
Does anyone know what to do? Thanks and best regards, Finn
