ontriggerexit/stay/enter not triggering on transform.position
i have a random map generator to build a city, and i have a game object that moves around the terrain to build the city.
it does this by
a random number generator to see if it will spawn a building
will either spawn north south east or west
check to see if there is already a building placed in one of those locations
spawn a building if there is no building there
move to the next area and start at number 1
but for some reason i keep having buildings spawn on top of each other because for some reason ontriggerontriggerexit/stay/enter isnt triggering properly, on the spawner i have it check the ontrigger event and if the tag is correct it will return true, otherwise it will return false.
the building game objects have the properties
transform
navmech obstacle
box collider
the spawner has
transform
the scrips to move it around and spawn buildings
box collider with is trigger checked
rigidbody with is kenematic checked
is the issue that these methods are being run in the start command?
