Does Unity correct force applied to objects by gravity with altitude?
As an example, at height of 350 km above sea level gravity is about 90% of what it is on the surface. Is that drop in gravity build-in in physics engine?
Comment
Unlikely, as the coordinate system used within the Unity Engine isn't attached to any physical location. You wouldn't expect an object with a y-coordinate of -6,371 to experience negligible gravity. Nuances like the one you are raising are the responsibility of the developer and subject to the environments they are building.
