Multiple colors in a material?
Is it possible for Unity materials to have multiple diffuse values that effect different color channels of the texture? Specifically I'm only looking to set one color per channel so that I could color-code a texture and set the three colors in the inspector. Having to use 4 materials to achieve the same effect seems a waste of draw calls and texture memory.

Sounds like you're looking for a custom shader of some kind.
Yeah I figued that, just wasn't sure if it could be done since I've never tinkered with shaders.
build a shader with multiple alpha, ambient and diffuse properties.
