Animation locks transform, even when not playing
Hey community!
Now, I've seen a lot of people have a similar issue as me. Their animation, which controlles a transform, locks said transform and it cannot move.
I get that and its not the main problem. What is the problem, is that this even occurs when the animation that locks the transform doesnt even run, or ever ran!
Here is the exact setup:
I have a Gameobject with the animator on it. the animator has 2 animations
An empty one (which plays by default)
A second one wich only play when I press Space. After it finishes, controll goes back to the empty animation. The second animation controlls the transform.position of a child of the GameObject.
Even if the empty animation is running I cannot move my child-object. I can move the parent object.
Any ideas? :D
Hmm...Very odd. Do you have anything else on the gameobject at all? If something overlaps that might be the problem. So when you try move it, it will just stay put and not even jitter a bit? A screenshot may be handy...
The childobject has a boxcollider2D on it... I dont think that is important tho. I can move the object as soon as I disable the animator.
And no it doesnt jitter, its completely fixed :/
