Unity 5 just removed all my lightmaps after 7 hours of baking
This is bullshit. Complete bullshit. I just spent the last 7 hours baking lightmaps for a project whos deadline is tomorrow. I've been trying to bake for the past week but something always went wrong. After finally eliminating the problem. I just managed to complete a bake and I clicked play to have a look, then unplayed and BLOP. Gone. Oh yeah, that's what I wanted. When I unplay, please delete all my lightmaps that I've just spent the past 7 hours waiting to bake. Please do that for me. Please Unity, please. Please release a product that does that to your customers. Delete 7 hours of now wasted time when I unplay. Even when continuous build is off, please, please, please please please please delete all my lightmaps and start rebaking. I beg you, please do not test your software fully before release and fuck up my project for me. That's what I paid for! I guess I'm an idiot for not expecting that really. Silly me.

I have never had that issue, but that sounds like a real bitch, I guess your answer lies outside of this forum, but hey I guess I'll give it here. Check your recycle bin, if it isn't there, then go get some recovery software, if you haven't saved anything to your hdd it should still be there, just un-indexed.
Hey thanks for even replying!! So am I looking for the cache data right? I appreciate the help!
