how to make a gameobject rigid?
I have a capsule (player) and cube(rigid object) on the scene. I added Rigidbody component to the cube and increased its drag and angular drag so that when i hit on the cube, it didn't bounce off but moved by its position. I even turned on the check box of Freeze position and rotation. This made my player to penetrate the cube. What should i do to make the cube stay on its position as a rigidbody.Kindly Help.

If you want the cube to act like a wall and not move at all, remove the Rigidbody and add a Box Collider.
This would require that the player capsule has a RB, though.
Well I agree although he didnT' specifically say so and on the other hand described his cube as a "rigid object".
It would also be interesting to know how you move the player capsule.
@Cherno @shrey150 Thank you for your suggestion. Yet as you said I made the changes:Removed rigidbody and Added box collider to cube also added rigidbody to the player. The player moves through the arrow keys. When the scene enters the play mode, only when I check on Is $$anonymous$$inematics on the rigidbody the player stays on the plane and when it hits the cube it penetrates the cube otherwise it moves down the plane continuously(like its acting on gravity).$$anonymous$$indly Help
