Bizarre interaction between RigidBody and Animator
I have a GameObject with an Animator and a RigidBody. If these two components are on the same object (the root) the Animator keeps setting the RigidBody's velocity.x to zero. It doesn't affect .y or .z.
Finally I fixed it by moving the Animator to a child object.
I'm stumped about what is causing this.. or is it just a bug in Unity?
