Show script-created file in Project View
Hi everyone,
I have a C# script that sends its output to a text file created by the script with a unique file name which is created in the Assets/ folder of the project.
What I would like to happen is for the new text file to appear in the project window of the Unity Editor after the script has been executed. Currently, the files are accessible in Explorer in the Assets folder but not directly from the Unity Editor.
Is there any way to add the newly created text file to the Assets Database so that it shows up in the Project View in the Unity Editor after it has been created?
Thanks for your help.
