Move in fixed increments (C#)
Hey everyone,
Was hoping to get an opinion on some coding structure. I'm hoping to move my player along the x axis in fixed increments. What i mean by this is that when you move left/right you'll move to position x, and if you move right again you'll move to position y. So you basically move in "columns" and nothing in between.
I'm thinking of doing this just with if statements. E.g. If you press "d" then changed the player's position to the next right column, etc.
Is this the best way to approach or is there a better solution to this
Any feedback would be awesome.
