Highlighting Objects Behind Other Objects
Hey, so I want to implement a certain feature to my Tower Defense game which is basically highlighting a node behind a sprite relative to the camera view.
If it's confusing, let me explain in detail. Take an object. Then take another object (say a sprite image) and position that sprite in front of the object relative to the camera view. In order for the player to see the object behind the sprite when they hover over it with the mouse, I want them to see an outline highlight to see the object or node behind the sprite. But I'm not exactly sure how to go about that.
So with that explained, how do I highlight an object that's behind another object?
