(2D) manually draw sprite shadows or not?
Hello everyone!
Sorry if this is generic, but I was wondering if I should be drawing shadows on my sprites, pretending as if there were a static light source somewhere, or if Unity deals with casting shadows upon them? I've tried creating a traditional light with no results, but maybe there are special scripts out there to cast shadows on my sprites? I just wonder how games make dynamic shadows in a 2D setting, drawing each and every sprite with various shadow angles just seems a bit ridiculous...
Thank you!
