Google Play Leaderboard won't show up if game is downloaded from Google Play
For some reason, when I put the apk on my phone and install that, the Google Play leaderboard will load and update just fine, but when I upload the game to the Google Play Store, when I tell it to show leaderboards nothing happens. Anyone know the reason for this?
The code to open the leaderboard is;
public void openLeaderboard()
{
if (PlayGamesPlatform.Instance.localUser.authenticated)
{
Debug.Log("Leaderboard opened");
PlayGamesPlatform.Instance.ShowLeaderboardUI();
}
}
The code to initialize Google Play Services is
PlayGamesClientConfiguration config = new
PlayGamesClientConfiguration.Builder()
.Build();
// Enable debugging output (recommended)
PlayGamesPlatform.DebugLogEnabled = true;
// Initialize and activate the platform
PlayGamesPlatform.InitializeInstance(config);
PlayGamesPlatform.Activate();
SignIn();
And the sign in function has this
public void SignIn()
{
if (!PlayGamesPlatform.Instance.localUser.authenticated)
{
// Sign in with Play Game Services, showing the consent dialog
// by setting the second parameter to isSilent=false.
//test.text = "Signing in...";
PlayGamesPlatform.Instance.Authenticate(SignInCallback, false);
}
else
{
// Sign out of play games
PlayGamesPlatform.Instance.SignOut();
}
}
The Google Play Plugin is the latest at 0.9.5
