Is there a way to reduce sprites size keeping the resolution intact?
hey, i have made an application that exceeds the 4 GB mark. so i need to decrease the build size for ios without compromising the resolution of the textures I'm using in my game. s there a way out?
Svg? odr (on demand resources)? asset bundle?
I'm trying to target 64bit iOS devices only. My app has 17 scenes, around 100 sprite sheets, around 250 sprites.

I'm totally amazed by the new version of unity 2017.3.0f3 while building my game and opening build settings it gave a new option compression method
I selected LZ4HC for my release build and it reduced my app size from 5 gb to 450 mb that was really unbelievable what the compression did. you might want to check this. LZ4 is for development. LZ4HC is for release. The compression doesn't alter the performance. Yay!

buildSettings ->PlayerSettings>OtherSettings>device Filter to ARMv7 only ,it also reduce size. also try compression but it changes resolution https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/ReducingFilesize.html
I've done this and reduced my build size from 5.7 to 4.8 gb but i can't get it further down? Any other ways suggested my app has 17 scenes around 100 animation sprite sheets 250 sprites anyway i could reduce sprite size without altering resolution?

You could try set up your game as a mini-launcher, which will use www download the asset bundle from your own server. For more detail, you might want to check this.
i would prefer ODR(on demand resource) rather than using asset bundle as it would save me the server problems as odr uses apples own cloud.
I've tried ODR back on Unity 5.7.1 or something but I fail to set that up. This might help you solving ODR out.
Yes I applied ODR too the code they're using in the project is obsolete. i somehoe managed my way around it and it worked but there's a limit of 64 mb per part and also my game din have levels so failed idea :(. but in this new version compression helps allot
