Question by Sanyam Malhotra · Jan 08, 2016 at 11:57 AM · unity 5unity 2daiartificial intelligencefootball

What algorithms might be needed to build AI for a game like American Football in Unity?

I tried using built-in NavMesh but it failed at a point. You can also please suggest sources for learning about it.

Why did Nav$$anonymous$$esh failed?

Because Navmesh does not bake at runtime. It is a one-time process. The players are moving, so you need to keep finding the appropriate path at runtime...

I don't understand what's the problem. You don't need to bake navmesh at runtime. And NavAgent can find paths at runtime.
