mask on UI scrollable list disappears in ARcamera(Vuforia)

I made a scrollable list using this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUun2xW6FJ4

And the list works just as i want it to. But when I add it to my Augmented reality project te mask of the list disappears making it impossible to sroll trough the list.

Am I missing an option, or is it just imossible to do this? I'm new to Unity, any help is appreciated
